About Us
Are you searching for a group of sincere and dedicated people:
- Who love God and one another?
- Who exalt and follow the Lord Jesus Christ?
- Who follows only the Bible and believe denominational division is contrary to God's will?
- Who are "Just Christians"?
Our Convictions
- These are our convictions and goals. Come and be with us. We are simply Christians without being members of any denomination. You can be too!
- Our only "creed" is the Bible itself. It contains within its 66 books evidence that we believe will convince any sincere searcher for truth that it is, as it claims, the inspired word of God.
- Our worship together is not designed to please man but to please our Heavenly Father. We sing praises, pray, partake of the Lord’s Supper, study His word, and give of our means in humble response to our Lord’s teachings in the New Testament.
- Whether it is eternal salvation, making a marriage work, dealing with personal suffering, or interpersonal relationships we trust our Lord through our prayers and His Word to help us as no one else can. Join us in serving Him.
Our Worship Assemblies
- Our gatherings to worship are simple but devout. Most newcomers to our assemblies find the building neat and attractive but very plain in comparison to what most have experienced in many religious groups.
- We make conscious effort to be guided by God’s Word alone in all our acts of worship. As a result, our assemblies to worship God together include five items:
- We sing spiritual songs in praise to God and to encourage each other (Eph. 5:19). There are songbooks in the pews so everyone who wants to can join in the singing.
- We pray together petitioning God for things we need and thanking Him for His blessings. In each assembly two or three of the men in our spiritual family are asked to lead our thoughts in prayer.
- We partake of the Lord’s Supper during our Sunday gathering. This most solemn act of worship is included every Sunday (Acts 20:7). Each week different men lead us in this item of worship by making a few brief remarks about its meaning and leading us in giving thanks (1 Cor. 11:24).
- We study God’s Word together as the evangelist presents a sermon on some important Bible subject (Acts 20:7).
- We give of our material prosperity into the church treasury so we might have funds to do the Lord’s work (1 Cor. 16:1-2) . We never want visitors to feel any obligation to make a contribution. Only those who make up our spiritual family are expected to give. Each gives as his own conscience dictates.
- No contributions are solicited from our visitors!
- You are welcome to come to any of our worship assemblies or Bible classes.
